Prada a filly by Black Delight out of a Roman Nature mare she received premium and was the High Point Inspection winner at he ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection in July 2008. Maddie who is 5 years old will raise, train and show this fabulous pony foal with the assistance of her mother Sandy.

Here at Savoir Faire Stables we are dedicated to breeding, raising and training the best possible sport horse.
In 1999 we bought our facility in San Marcos, CA. In April 2000 we bought our foundation mare “Cortana”. Cortana is a beautiful, 16.3 hand, dark bay mare we bought from Hilltop Farms in Colora Maryland. Her breeding was a perfect start for our breeding program. Her blood includes Cor Noir, Cor de la Bryere, Langata Express & Pik Koenig. Over the past five years we have bred Cortana to the top stallions in the world. These stallions include Riverman, Festrauch, Olympic Ferro, Bugatti Hilltop, Roman Nature, Royal Diamond, Jazz Time and Rousseau. Thanks to modern science we use embryo transfers and Cortana continues with her performance career.
This year our breeding program took another step up. We bred via embryo transfer our 2003 premium foal and inspection champion Oldenburg mare "Broadway" (Bugatii Hilltop x Cor Noir x Bergamon x Donnerhall x Rubinstein). In addition we imported our own Stallion “Hit Parade”. For more information on “Hit Parade” see our stallion page.

 We at Savoir Faire Stables have been very busy with all the horses. We hosted our first Oldenburg N.A. inspection on September 30, 2006. The inspection was a great success and we look forward to hosting another one next year. The following horses have a very bright future.
Cortana (Cor Noir x Lantana) is currently training Prix St George and has just qualified for her Star award for quality foals. The three premium foals are Broadway, Roosevelt SFS & Jazz Affaire SFS
Chablis (Riverman x Cortana) 2002 mare currently went double clean in the International Jumping Futurity (Sept 2006 at The Oaks in California) with judges saying she has very powerful hindquarters and a great future in jumping. She also competed at the oaks in August 2006 jumping 3'3' and went double clean finishing 6th out of 240 horses.
 Broadway (Bugatti x Cortana) was a premium foal in 2003, inspection site winner in 2003, and on Sept 30, 2006 was awarded 111 points and put in the premium mare book. The judge Ekkehard Brysch said "She is one of the nicest mares I've seen all year". Broadway may be the High score mare for the west coast. I will keep you posted. Last year we did an embryo transfer with Festrauch and Broadway resulting in the filly Fendi SFS.
Fendi SFS (Festrauch x Broadway) was deemed a premium foal on Sept 30th 2006 with a score of 8.3 and was the inspection site winner.

Cashmere (Festrauch x Cortana) 2002 is currently training with Sandy Burns Gardner for the Five-year-old championships and is doing great.
